Nick spent some time travelling and then worked in countryside conservation before going on to train as an actor at Rose Bruford. With guitar, accordion and piano in tow, he has worked largely in touring theatre. Roles have been at quite extremes from classical plays with Mad Dogs & Englishmen through several animals in children's shows, community theatre and pantomime to the headmistress in Daisy Pulls It Off and Basil in a theatre production of Fawlty Towers. He has written songs for several shows, toured his own one-man musical play and has just released an album of his own songs, Up the Hill. He made a feature documentary about Evered Wigg (no, you probably won't have heard of him) that was serialised and broadcast on Mustard TV between 2016 and 2017. This year he has been fortunate to gain the role of Fagin in Lionel Bart's musical, Oliver!, George III in Nick Dear's play, In the Ruins and writing the music and lyrics for a new cabaret-musical style play by Belona Greenwood, Suffragette!
